C.B. Non-Destructive Testing Ltd. was formed in February 1984, and we have experienced a steady growth since that time. Our expansion has included the acquisitions of Cathcart Inspection Services Ltd. and Magnaflux Quality Services.

CB NDT is certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau to C.S.A. W178.1, as a welding inspection organization, and to the C.S.A. Z299 Quality Programme.

We are involved primarily in all methods of Non-Destructive Testing, visual inspection, surveillance and expediting services. Our staff of technicians and inspectors have many years of experience in this field and in the manufacturing sector. Our technicians and inspectors are qualified to C.S.A. W.178.2, CAN C.G.S.B. 48.9712-2000. A complete line of mobile and In-house units capable of carrying-out any Non-Destructive Testing requirements are available.

We are also experienced and have a full range of equipment to perform surface preparation and coating inspections.

Our company has extensive experience in fatigue inspections of various structural and mechanical components including highway and railway bridges, amusement park rides (structures and carriages), impellers, generators, turbine generation, hoisting and lifting equipment, tower cranes, overhead cranes and crane runways as well as pressure vessels and power boilers/piping, both commercial and nuclear application.
